Festival of Creativity 2017 – University of Lincoln
The University of Lincoln commissioned Born Agency to create a branding for The Festival of Creativity, this was a very important project for the University as it was an exhibition to celebrate the students’ final year degree work. The brief was to be really creative and design something that we would all be proud of.
Strong but flexible
Our approach was to look at the project as an overall celebration and create a strong but flexible branding that could sit alongside the existing corporate University of Lincoln branding as the two would be seen together on the same marketing materials. We created an interactive branding that could be used and applied in a number of ways for flexibility on screen, large format and printed materials.
An adaptable brand
The branding was extended by introducing a treatment on the images in the festival brochure and a colour palette was created for a set of festival posters.
Items that Born Agency created for the Festival were branding, colour palette, website, brochure and both printed and digital posters.
A Striking student showcase
A striking website was designed and built showcasing the students’ fantastic work which included work from all the creative courses from design to dance at the other end of the spectrum.
As part of the festival project Shaun was asked to be one of the five keynote signature speakers.
Following the success of the 2017 Festival of Creativity, Born Agency was asked to produce the marketing material and update the website for the 2018, 2019 and 2020 festivals. Each year the original designs were adapted to bring a fresh, but consistant look to the festival.
