Born Agency were approached by Bredon Manor, An early 18th century Georgian manor house set on the edge of the pretty village of Bredon, on the Gloucestershire/Worcestershire border – to create a truly bespoke set of illustrations for their wedding venue.

Concept

Creating a foundation

After meeting with Charlie, Peter and Amelia and going through the site plan, we sketched out some initial plans of the buildings and garden layout. This created a solid foundation for things to come. Once the initial sketches were approved, we then transferred these onto the tablet and started to develop the look and feel of the illustrations. We explored different finishes and agreed on a water colour finish which reinforced the clients tranquil ethos.

Bringing the floor plan to life

Once the illustration map had been created and well received we then moved onto the floor plans and illustrating the various layouts of the venue. This was created with the same digital brushes as the illustration map to create a subtle consistency across the media.   The illustrations have been used across multiple platforms for the venue as well as printed versions dotted around the venue acting as wayfindings. The designs were very well received by the client and their customers.
