Transported Arts: Brand Refresh & Website Redesign

The Challenge

Transported is a community-focused arts programme aimed at increasing participation in creative activities across Boston Borough and South Holland. The organisation originally approached us to repair their legacy website, as broken functionality was hindering user engagement and preventing local communities from accessing information on arts events. It quickly became clear the problems ran deeper than a few broken links, the site’s structure and the brand behind it, no longer reflected the energy of the programme it represented.

Brand Identity Evolution

After a strategic consultation, we determined that a complete website rebuild and brand refresh would deliver a far better long-term return than a simple patch fix. This let us modernise Transported’s digital presence while honouring the organisation’s unique heritage — including the road-marking-inspired identity behind their “taking art on the road” concept.

We evolved that visual legacy through two core strands of work:

UX-focused web design — rebuilding the site from the ground up to restore functionality and create a streamlined user journey that makes it easy for the community to find and engage with local arts events.

Iconic logo design — extracting and refining Transported’s signature shapes into a versatile new logo icon that performs seamlessly across digital and print, from the website down to festival signage and business cards.

The Results

The rebuild didn’t just fix what was broken, it changed how people found and engaged with Transported online.

Unique impressions grew by 1,288% in the first three months following launch, putting the programme in front of a dramatically wider audience across Boston Borough and South Holland.

Average session duration rose to over 2 minutes — a strong signal that visitors weren’t just landing on the site, they were exploring it, reading about events and engaging with the new brand.

Together, these results reflect exactly what the brand refresh was designed to do: turn a broken, overlooked website into a genuine growth channel for community engagement.
